SharePoint Search Bench

Version 2.0 has been released!

Click the Releases tab to download the new version. The main change in this release is the fix of a bug in the app when making web service calls from a non-SharePoint computer (Microsoft.Office dll's were required on the calling computer). This is a major version change because the API contains breaking changes for this fix.

Project Description

SharePoint Search Bench contains a desktop app for testing and executing searches against a Microsoft Office Search Server (MOSS) environment and a .NET class library API for developers to execute searches homogeneously across both the Search web service or object model.

System Requirements

• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). WSS only is not enough!
• .NET 3.5 (for running the desktop application)
